Workshop terms
From First Look to First Word: Terms & Conditions
1. Who we are and what you are agreeing to
1.1 From First Look to First Word (the “Workshop”) takes place on Monday 9 November 2026, 2:00pm to 5:00pm, and is jointly organised by DreaMe, UEN 53466790B (“DreaMe”) and Ann’s Beauty Palette, UEN 53464191A (“ABP”) (together, the “Organisers”).
1.2 Payments are received by Ann’s Beauty Palette by PayNow. Questions, withdrawals and refund requests should be sent by email, or to the phone number which will be provided to you upon registration.
1.3 By making payment, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
2. Registration and payment
2.1 The standard fee is S$280 per participant. Participants who register together under the Bring-a-Friend offer in Clause 15 pay S$248 each, provided the conditions in that clause are met. No other discount applies, and the Bring-a-Friend offer cannot be combined with any other promotion.
2.2 Full payment is required to secure a place. Your registration is confirmed when we have received full payment and sent you written confirmation.
2.3 The fee covers your participation in the Workshop and the materials and refreshments provided at the session.
3. Withdrawal and substitution
3.1 Once your registration is confirmed, the fee is non-refundable if you withdraw, do not attend, arrive late or leave early. No replacement session is offered.
3.2 You may nominate a substitute to take your place by telling us her name and contact details at least 48 hours before the Workshop. The substitute must agree to these Terms & Conditions, and we may decline a substitute only on reasonable grounds. Any arrangement between you and your substitute is your own.
3.3 In exceptional circumstances we may, at our discretion, offer a refund or credit. We are not obliged to, and doing so in one case does not set a precedent.
4. Cancellation or rescheduling by the Organisers
4.1 The Workshop needs a minimum of 5 paid registrations to proceed. We will assess registrations on 30 October 2026 and notify all participants of our decision by 31 October 2026.
4.2 If we cancel the Workshop for any reason, including insufficient registrations, you will receive a full refund.
4.3 If we reschedule the Workshop, we will notify you as soon as reasonably practicable. If you cannot attend the new date, you may request a full refund within 5 days of our notice.
4.4 Refunds are made by PayNow to the number used for payment within 7 working days of our cancellation notice or your valid refund request.
4.5 If a facilitator is unable to attend because of illness or an emergency, clause 4.3 applies. Except for refunds under this clause, we are not responsible for costs you incur in connection with the Workshop, such as travel or time off work.
5. Venue and timing
5.1 The Workshop will be held at a studio in Central, Singapore. We will confirm the venue address by 2 November 2026.
5.2 We may change the venue, start time or arrangements where reasonably necessary and will notify you as soon as reasonably practicable.
5.3 If we change the date, or move the venue outside Central Singapore or the time by more than one hour, and you cannot attend as a result, you may request a full refund within 5 days of our notice.
5.4 You are responsible for your own transport and punctuality. If you arrive late, we cannot repeat sessions you have missed or extend the Workshop.
6. About the Workshop
6.1 The Workshop is practical and educational. It is designed to help you make more intentional choices about how you present yourself and communicate, but we do not guarantee any particular result.
6.2 The colour analysis component is an introduction only and not a full consultation. Nothing in the Workshop is medical, dermatological or other professional advice.
7. Health, allergies and participation
7.1 Please tell us through the registration form we will send you after you register by email, and in any event at least 48 hours before the Workshop, about any allergies, skin conditions or sensitivities, and any injury or condition that may affect walking, posture or movement.
7.2 Product application and every other activity are optional. You may use your own products, or decline any activity, and still attend. No refund is due for activities you choose not to take part in.
7.3 We will take reasonable care when using products and running activities, but we cannot guarantee that every product or exercise will suit every participant. You are responsible for telling us about conditions you know of, and for stopping if you feel unwell or uncomfortable.
8. Photographs and video
8.1 Before-and-after photographs form part of the Workshop. You will receive your own for personal use.
8.2 We will use identifiable photographs or video of you for promotion (including on social media and websites) only if you have given consent on the registration form. Consent is optional, and declining does not affect your place or participation.
8.3 If you decline, we will not use identifiable images of you in promotional material and will take reasonable steps (such as cropping or excluding you) to avoid including you incidentally.
8.4 You may withdraw consent at any time by writing to us. We will stop future use and remove the material from channels we control within a reasonable time. We cannot recall material that has already been printed or shared by third parties.
8.5 Please do not photograph or record other participants without their permission.
9. Personal data
9.1 We collect your name, contact details, payment details, any allergy, sensitivity or injury information you give us, and photographs or video taken at the Workshop.
9.2 We use this information to process your registration, communicate with you, run the Workshop safely and, with your consent, for promotion. We share it only between the Organisers and with service providers where necessary to run the Workshop, and keep it only as long as reasonably needed.
9.3 You may withdraw consent, or ask to access or correct your personal data, by contacting us by email, or at the phone number which will be provided to you upon registration. Withdrawing consent to collect safety information may mean we cannot let you take part in certain activities.
9.4 We handle personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012.
10. Conduct
10.1 Please treat other participants, the Organisers and the venue staff respectfully and follow reasonable instructions from the Organisers and the venue.
10.2 We may ask a participant to leave if her behaviour is disruptive or unsafe. No refund is due in that case.
11. Belongings and venue property
11.1 You are responsible for your own belongings. We are not liable for their loss or damage, except where we are legally responsible.
11.2 You are responsible for the reasonable cost of repairing or replacing venue property damaged by your intentional or negligent acts.
12. Liability
12.1 To the extent permitted by law, the Organisers’ total liability to you in connection with the Workshop is limited to the fee you paid, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
12.2 Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded under Singapore law.
13. Events beyond our control
If the Workshop cannot proceed because of circumstances beyond our reasonable control (for example, venue closure, public health restrictions or severe weather), clause 4 applies. We are not otherwise liable for delay or failure caused by those circumstances.
14. Programme changes
We may make reasonable changes to the running order, content or facilitators where necessary, while keeping the Workshop’s overall purpose.
15. Bring-a-Friend
15.1 Two participants who register together may each pay S$248 (S$496 in total, a saving of S$64) if both of the following are done by 11:59pm on Sunday 18 October 2026 (the “Cut-off Date”):
(a) both names are submitted on the registration form as a pair; and
(b) each participant has paid S$248 in full by PayNow.
15.2 After the Cut-off Date the standard fee of S$280 applies to every new registration, and the Bring-a-Friend rate is no longer available.
15.3 If you register and pay before you have found a friend, you pay S$280. If a friend registers and pays S$248 as your pair by the Cut-off Date, we will refund S$32 to you by PayNow within 7 working days of receiving her payment. If no friend has registered and paid by the Cut-off Date, no refund is due and your registration continues at S$280.
15.4 If one half of a pair withdraws, clause 3 applies to her registration. She may nominate a substitute under clause 3.2, and the pair rate is unaffected. If no substitute takes her place, the other participant’s registration remains valid and she keeps the S$248 rate, provided both had paid in full by the Cut-off Date.
15.5 If the Workshop is cancelled or rescheduled by the Organisers, clause 4 applies to each participant individually, and each is refunded the amount she actually paid.
16. General
16.1 These terms are the whole agreement between you and the Organisers about the Workshop. We may update them, but the version in force when you pay applies to your registration.
16.2 If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect.
16.3 No one other than you and the Organisers has any right to enforce these terms under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 2001.
16.4 These terms are governed by Singapore law, and the Singapore courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.
